On the activities of a single open portal of vacancies for civil servants - vacancy.argos.uz
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.5843 dated October 3, 2019 “On measures to radically improve the personnel policy and the system of public civil service in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan launched a single open portal of vacancies for civil servants vacancy. argos.uz.

This portal works on the principle of "single window" for filling vacancies in state bodies and organizations with qualified personnel. That is, all Internet portals for labor and personnel are integrated with this portal.

The vacancy.argos.uz portal is interactive and offers a range of opportunities and conveniences for job seekers. For example, candidates wishing to compete can apply for three vacancies in a government agency at the same time. The number of organizations to which applications are submitted is not limited. Qualification requirements for a vacancy are determined by the employer on an equal basis for all.
This practice acts as an electronic platform free of paperwork and redundant correspondence. An applicant who wants to get a job will not have to run around organizations with his/her documents. Also, it is not required to obtain unnecessary certificates from various departments. All information about the candidate is automatically reflected in his application through the Unified National Labor System.

To date, competitions have been announced on the single open portal of vacancies for civil service positions - vacancy.argos.uz to fill more than 33 thousand vacant positions in more than 60 ministries and agencies, as well as in all district (city) khokimiyats, more than 450 thousand candidates submitted documents to participate in the competitions for these vacant positions.
For 1,256 vacant positions, the process of accepting documents is underway, for 11,123 vacant positions the process of accepting documents has been completed and testing and interviews are underway, for 19,805 vacant positions, the competition has been completed. 8,100 people were accepted into the state civil service.

Employment through a single open portal of vacancies for civil service positions - vacancy.argos.uz is carried out in the following stages:
- selection according to qualification requirements;
- testing;
- interview.
Women make up 20% of candidates - more than 70 thousand who have applied for admission to the civil service.
Among the winners of the competition are 1,016 women, 2,012 people under the age of 30, 1,092 people who have been hired for the first time in public service.

Open competition processes are promptly posted in real time on a special Telegram channel @vacancyonline.
Also, to ensure the transparency of the selection, information about the winners is announced through a special Telegram channel @vacancy_winners.
According to the numerous requirements of the participants of the competition - candidates for a vacant position, sample test questions from the module for testing civil servants - test.argos.uz are published on @testargosuz.
In addition, @vacancy_argos_bot accepts proposals and reports of problems in open competitions and responds as soon as possible.
Through the @himoya_argos group, the rights of personnel admitted to the civil service through an open competition are protected by experts assigned by the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President.
