The Korean experience in developing and assessing the competencies of civil servants is studied
The Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President is consistently developing cooperation with the National Human Resource Development Institute and the Ministry of Personnel Management of the Republic of Korea.
In October 2023, memorandums of understanding were signed between the Agency for the Development of Public Service and the Ministry of Personnel Management of the Republic of Korea, as well as the Institute.
To further develop bilateral cooperation, a short-term study visit was organized for Agency employees and the teaching staff of the Academy of Public Administration. The goal is to study foreign experience in the field of development and assessment of the competencies of civil servants.
Today the delegation visited the Center for the assessment of management personnel of the Republic of Korea. Members of the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the center, as well as with the mechanism for assessing personnel based on competencies.
The study visit, which includes a series of sectoral meetings and events, will last until December 23 in Seoul.
